St. Pope John Paul II declared, “We are an Easter People.”  We are called to rejoice in Jesus’ sacrifice and deep love for us.  Not only should we rejoice, but also, we should live as Jesus lived: to share the Father’s love and message with everyone we encounter.  Together in faith, we can leave a legacy that shares Jesus with the world. 

The Catholic Foundation is a separate 501(c)(3) organization established to serve the Catholic community here in northeastern Wisconsin. We partner with families and individuals to support the ministries of the diocese, their parish, and other nonprofit organizations. Learn more through this blog post!

Dave and Cathy have always supported the parish offertory, as well as many of the important projects and ministries of their parish. Now that they are retired, Dave and Cathy have begun considering how they can support their parish after they pass. A well-thought-out estate plan is great to plan your legacy.

Just like Jesus and His disciples, our Diocese is answering the call of Bringing Hope to the World. Parish faith formation programs and Catholic schools help our young people find hope in a friendship with Jesus. Catholic Charities counselors offer mental health, debt management, and family counseling, helping people hear Jesus’s words: “Do not be afraid.” This and even more is made possible in our parish and our diocese because of your gift to the Bishop’s Appeal.

St. Mary’s Catholic School in Greenville is inspiring children to discover Jesus and hear God’s call.  Thanks to a Catholic Foundation grant, St. Mary’s was able to install a Blessed Carlo Acutis wall in their school.  This wall is impacting our young people and showing them how they can answer God’s call for their lives like Blessed Carlo Acutis.

As wind-driven fires continue to move through Los Angeles County, residents who have been displaced will need continued support. Our partners, Catholic Charities of Los Angeles, will continue to serve residents through the challenges that lie ahead. In addition to prayer, if you feel called to help monetarily, Catholic Charities of Los Angeles is currently accepting donations to help support people affected by the fires.

By opening our hearts to one another, we also open our hearts to Jesus. One of the best ways to do this is by thinking of ways to give to others and help them experience the love of Christ.
