At youth group, Allie was amazed to hear stories of the Steubenville Youth Conference. She heard of memories made with friends on the bus ride. Peers shared the impact Mass had on them. Allie envisioned Jesus being raised in the monstrance during Adoration, as she reached out for Him. Shortly after, a group from Xavier Catholic School in Appleton was formed to attend this year’s conference. Gifts to the Raising Vocations Collection made attending Steubenville possible for Allie and hundreds of other young men and women from our Diocese.

Garrett sprinted through the forest.  Sounds of kids laughing and footsteps flying throughout the woods echoed around him.  When Garrett signed up to be a Camp Tekakwitha Missionary, he never imagined he’d be dressed as Bigfoot and waiting for the campers to find him.  Yet, all Garrett could feel was incredible joy. 

The Raising Vocations Collection supports ministries that help young people discover Jesus and accompany them on their vocation journey. The Raising Vocations Collection kicks off on August 2-3, 2025. Individuals and families will be receiving a letter from Bishop Ricken asking for their support of the 2025 Raising Vocations Collection.

On June 24th, devastating back-to-back earthquakes measuring 7.5 and 7.2 struck Venezuela. This is the strongest seismic event the country has experienced in more than a century. Please pray and consider supporting the people of Venezuela by making a gift to Catholic Relief Services (CRS). Working through Caritas Venezuela and the local Church, CRS is already on the ground, delivering critical emergency aid and accompanying those affected as they begin the long journey of recovery. Your support can bring hope and relief to our brothers and sisters in Venezuela during this time.
