Advancing The Mission

ATMFundLogoLandingpageFour endowments were established within the Catholic Foundation using half of what was raised in the Advancing the Mission stewardship campaign conducted in each parish of the Diocese beginning in 2005. Grants to help parishes will be made annually from these funds:

  • Evangelization Endowment — Diocesan-wide, vicariate, parish cluster and/or parish programs for worship, spirituality, sacred music, youth and young adult ministry, marriage preparation, family life, baptism preparation, campus ministry, retreat operations, and RCIA.
  • Leadership Development Endowment — Advanced degrees for priests; recruitment and education of deacons; seminarian education; recruitment and education of parish directors; promote and support lay ministries such as pastoral associates, religious education directors, parish business managers, and youth ministers.
  • Life-long Catechesis Endowment — Funding for learning materials and teaching stipends in parish/vicariate religious education; help Catholic schools establish tuition assistance for needy families and direct assistance to needy schools; funding for the Diocese’s Education Department.
  • Priestly Care Endowment — Support the welfare of retired priests of the Diocese and the benevolent fund of the Leo Benevolent Association of the Priests of the Catholic Diocese of Green Bay, Inc.
