Today, thanks to a Monica Meyer Respect Life Grant from the Catholic Foundation, Trinity House is expanding its mission to serve more women like Hannah. The grant supports Vida’s commitment to providing comprehensive, Christ-centered care for pregnant women and new mothers facing homelessness or housing instability.

On July 4, 2025, the One Big Beautiful Bill Act (OBBBA) was signed into law, ushering in sweeping changes to the U.S. tax code. As the philanthropic landscape shifts, the Catholic Foundation for the Diocese of Green Bay, Inc. remains committed to helping donors navigate these changes while continuing to support the Catholic ministries and missions that matter most.

We are thrilled to share that Josh Diedrich, Executive Director of the Catholic Foundation for the Diocese of Green Bay, has been named the Outstanding Fundraising Professional by the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP), Northeast Wisconsin Chapter. Josh’s recognition by AFP is a testament to his dedication, integrity, and the deep impact of his work. We celebrate this honor and look forward to the continued growth of Catholic philanthropy under his leadership.

This year, as St. John’s celebrates 20 seasons of shelter, the milestone brings both gratitude for what’s been accomplished and hope for what’s ahead. That’s why the St. John’s Homeless Shelter Endowment, held at the Catholic Foundation, is so important. It provides ongoing resources for daily operations, long-term maintenance, and the continuation of programs that restore dignity.

The Catholic Foundation will be accepting grant applications from October 1 to December 1, 2024. Each year, grants from designated funds and endowments are awarded to help meet the needs of our Catholic communities.

The Catholic Foundation awards grants from the Advancing the Mission Endowments in Evangelization, Leadership Development, and Lifelong Catechesis, as well as from the Monica Meyer Respect Life Endowment.

Thanks to a generous Monica Meyer Respect Life Grant from the Catholic Foundation, Biking for Babies continues to empower young adults to become missionary disciples and support pro-life and anti-abortion efforts. This support enabled the creation and distribution of Life Guides—essential formation materials—for all 92 missionaries participating in the 2025 National Ride.

Dave and Cathy have always supported the parish offertory, as well as many of the important projects and ministries of their parish. Now they are retired, Dave and Cathy have begun considering how they can support their parish after they pass. A thought-out estate plan is great to plan your legacy.

In the last three years, Holy Rosary Catholic School in Kewaunee has seen a greater need for tuition assistance, so more children can have the opportunity to have an education with Jesus at the center. Thanks to a Catholic Foundation Advancing the Mission Lifelong Catechesis Endowment grant, Holy Rosary could provide tuition assistance for more students.

This direct distribution can be made to a qualified charity such as your parish, a Catholic school, the Bishop’s Appeal, a diocesan ministry, the Catholic Foundation, or another Catholic charity.
