It is with deep sadness we say farewell to Mimi Ariens, the wife of Mike Ariens one of our founding members of the Catholic Foundation Board of Directors, and 2nd Board President from 2003 – 2006. Mimi and Mike spent a lifetime committed to leading a stewardship way of life. They were instrumental as Lay Witness Presenters in the diocesan Sacrificial Giving program in the ‘80’s and ‘90’s. Mimi worked with youth ministers at Spiritus Ministries, a ministry of the Mt. Tabor Center in Menasha and she and Mike were deeply involved in the Cursillo movement. Mike and Mimi were significant donors to the Advancing the Mission campaign 2006 – 2009, and gave so much to the communities of Brillion and Holy Family Parish. Countless people have been touched by her deep faith – she will be deeply missed.
