We are sharing with great joy that Pope Francis has appointed Very Rev. Daniel J. Felton as Bishop of Duluth.  Bishop-elect Felton has served as a priest in our Diocese since his ordination on June 13, 1981.  He currently serves on the Catholic Foundation Board of Directors as well as the Vicar General and Moderator

Our prayers go out to all those who experienced and continue to experience the devastation of typhoons in the Archdiocese of Caceres in the Philippines. Please know nine priests from the Archdiocese of Caceres serve our Diocesan parishes. Bishop Ricken has requested all parishes to have a second collection as soon as possible to support
