2021 is Most Successful Year for Missionary Cooperation Plan Appeal

Thanks to the tremendous generosity of many people in our parishes, the 2021 Catholic Foundation Missionary Cooperation Plan Appeal (MCP) raised a record $425,260.65 in support of missionary groups.  $11,191,07 was distributed to each of the missionary groups that participated in our 2021 Appeal.  This is the largest-ever distribution provided through our MCP.

Support Turkey-Syria Earthquake Relief Efforts

On February 6, a 7.8 magnitude earthquake devastated large areas of central Turkey and northwest Syria. The death toll has surpassed 11,000 and continues to climb. The earthquake is the worst to strike Turkey this century.  
Pope Francis offered his prayers and called for solidarity with victims after two  powerful earthquakes brought death and destruction to southeast Turkey and northern Syria.

Catholic Foundation Grant Helps Faith Formation

“It is sacred furniture that is set apart for holy things, to be the table of the Lord himself, where His Body and Blood are offered every time we have Mass,” said Bishop David Ricken.  Bishop Ricken was speaking about the consecration of a new altar at Nativity of Our Lord Parish in Green Bay.  The parish was able to make the renewal of their sanctuary a priority through the one by One capital campaign.
