Q&A: Get to Know the Catholic Foundation
The Catholic Foundation is a separate 501(c)(3) organization established to serve the Catholic community in northeastern Wisconsin. We partner with local families and individuals to support the ministries of the diocese, their parish, and other nonprofit organizations. Get to know us better through this Q&A by Josh Diedrich, our Executive Director!
The Burden of Debt
Life can be challenging. There are times when people feel so lost. They find help through Catholic Charities and the many programs and resources in our Diocese. Your gift to the Bishop’s Appeal helps people experience Christ’s love and helps Catholic Charities be able to serve so many people throughout northeastern Wisconsin.
Make Your IRA Charitable Rollover Gift
Did you know you can reduce your taxes by making a gift from your IRA directly to charity? If you are 70 1/2 years old or older, you can make a charitable gift up to $100,000 directly from your IRA. This direct distribution can be made to a qualified charity such as your parish, a Catholic school, the Bishop’s Appeal, a diocesan ministry, the Catholic Foundation, or another Catholic charity.
We Are an Easter People
St. Pope John Paul II declared, “We are an Easter People.” We are called to rejoice in Jesus’ sacrifice and deep love for us. Not only should we rejoice, but also, we should live as Jesus lived: to share the Father’s love and message with everyone we encounter. Together in faith, we can leave a legacy that shares Jesus with the world.
