“Love God, serve God: everything is in that.” -St. Clare of Assisi

It is with a heavy heart the Catholic Foundation announces the passing of Marianne Van Drisse. We ask you to keep her in prayer as we thank God for the faith, service, and dedication she shared during her lifetime.
Marianne was one of the founding members of the Catholic Foundation board of directors in 1997, and her leadership and love for the Catholic faith helped more people on their walk with Jesus. In addition to serving on the Foundation Board, Van Drisse was involved in her parish, volunteered at Paul’s Pantry, and was dedicated to supporting Catholic causes and education such as St. Norbert College, the Green Bay Symphony Guild, the Catholic Women’s Club, and more.
Van Drisse’s efforts has helped the Catholic Foundation continue to this day and support the Church right here in northeastern Wisconsin.
“From the very beginning, Marianne didn’t just serve on the Board. She helped shape it. As a founding member, her steady leadership, vision, and deep commitment helped the Catholic Foundation become the organization it is today. The conversations she had, the integrity she modeled, and the vision she championed will continue to inspire the work we do. Though she is no longer with us, Marriane’s impact continues through our culture and the countless lives she served through her work,” shares Josh Diedrich, Executive Director for the Catholic Foundation.
Like St. Clare of Assisi, Marianne lived in service to God, letting her love for Him guide her life and inspire the work she did. We praise God for the gift of Marianne Van Drisse’s life and for all the ways she furthered the work of the Church in northeastern Wisconsin. Marianne was one of the founding members of the Catholic Foundation board of directors in 1997, and her leadership and love for the Catholic faith helped more people on their walk with Jesus.
