Raising Vocations Collection Inspires Vocations

The Raising Vocations Collection supports ministries that help young people discover Jesus and accompany them on their vocation journey. The Raising Vocations Collection kicks off on August 2-3, 2025. Individuals and families will be receiving a letter from Bishop Ricken asking for their support of the 2025 Raising Vocations Collection.

Through the collection, more than 500 young men and women from the Diocese of Green Bay deepened their faith when they went to a Steubenville Conference this summer.  Gifts from families like yours helped these young people discover Jesus and say “yes” to a vocation!

In 2024, the Raising Vocations Collection was a tremendous success. Thank you for your generosity. The Collection had nearly 5,500 individuals and families who gave more than $570,000 to support ministries such as college campus ministry, vocation fairs, the Magdalene Women’s Discernment Mass & Meal, and even more!

Your prayers and generosity have made a tremendous impact on the lives of our youth. Thank you for helping more youth say “yes” to the priesthood and religious life.

Because of your support of the Raising Vocations Collection, we are getting close to our Diocesan goal of 30 excellent men in seminary by the fall of 2025. By supporting young people at the beginning of their vocation journey, we can help them discover Jesus and open their hearts to God’s call.

Please continue to pray for more young people to say “yes”.  Included with your Raising Vocations Collection mailing, there will be two Called by Name cards. If you know someone who would be an excellent priest or religious, please fill out and return the card. Your support is a testament to the priest, the religious, or the lay person who helped you discover Jesus. You may also fill out an online form here.
