one by One Campaign Benefits Catholic Education

Bishop David Ricken joins parish leaders in the groundbreaking for the Holy Family Learning Center Oct. 23 in Brillion, WI.

“This is a gift of hope,” said Bishop David Ricken.  These words from Bishop Ricken refer to the groundbreaking on a new learning center at Holy Family Parish in Brillion, WI.  The new learning center was made possible through the one by One capital campaign managed by the Catholic Foundation.

A primary goal of the one by One campaign is to strengthen Catholic education in our Northeast Wisconsin communities.  Every parish will participate in its own campaign.  Through their campaign, Holy Family Parish wanted to fund the new learning center, which will house Holy Family School and the parish’s faith formation program.

“It is through the commitment of so many families who have worked incredibly hard and have given so generously that this project was made possible,” said Josh Diedrich, Executive Director for the Catholic Foundation.  “The Catholic Foundation was proud to partner with Holy Family Parish as part of the one by One campaign.”

Just as Jesus called His first disciples to follow Him, one by one, He is calling each of us.  The one by One campaign works to transform and enhance Catholic parishes, strengthen Catholic education, broaden social services, enhance all vocation efforts, support evangelization and discipleship and improve technology and communication.  To learn more, please visit the campaign website today at one.catholicfoundationgb.org.

Bishop Ricken spoke with The Compass newspaper about this wonderful project to strengthen Catholic education in the Diocese of Green Bay.
