Parish Emergency Response Fund

The Parish Emergency Response Fund has been created by the Catholic Diocese of Green Bay, Inc. to provide immediate assistance to parishes within the Diocese that have financial need or are receiving financial assistance requests from community members due to the spread of COVID-19 or other emergency needs. Grants will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis.

Examples of how this fund may be used include:

  • To help needy parishes pay staff wages and benefits.
  • To help parishes pay operational needs such as utility bills and other bills.
  • To provide funds for basic needs such as food, medications, shelter and clothing for parishioners in need.

The Parish Emergency Response Fund will be administered by a Fund Advisory Committee.  The Fund Advisory Committee will review all funding requests and grant applications.  If necessary you maybe contacted for additional information regarding your application. The Advisory committee will meet as needed to review grant applications with the Catholic Foundation coordinating the grant making process.
