Types of Grants

Each year the Catholic Foundation awards grants to assist Education, Services and Ministry within the Diocese of Green Bay, its parishes and schools. Here are examples of some of those grants:

Education

  • Holy Family Parish Education Endowment Fund, Brillion -- Awards annual grants to supplement funding for total Catholic education programs and services at Holy Family Parish
  • St. Bernard Scholarship Fund, Green Bay -- Awards high school and college scholarships to St. Bernard Parish members based on academic performance

Services

  • St. Agnes Parish, St. Vincent DePaul Society Fund, Green Bay -- Supports the mission of the St. Vincent De Paul Society Conference at St. Agnes Parish
  • Camp Tekawitha Endowment Fund -- Assists with scholarships, year-round building needs and summer programs at Camp Tekawitha in Shawano.

Ministry

  • Salvatorian Mission Warehouse Fund, New Holstein -- Helps defray transportation costs to deliver goods donated by corporations to missions in Third World countries
  • St. Willebrord Open Doors, Open Hearts Fund, Green Bay -- Provides programming and resources for the parish’s “Open Doors, Open Hearts” ministry serving its diverse population
