The Diocesan Bishop decides which areas of greatest need receive grants from the Bishop’s Greatest Needs fund, which was established in 1998 in honor of Bishop Robert J. Banks and serves as the Foundation’s general fund.
Other endowment funds have been established for the greatest needs of some parishes, schools and organizations.
