Grants

The Catholic Foundation awards grants that match our aims as stewards: To financially support the spiritual, educational, and social needs of the Catholic community in the Diocese of Green Bay.

The Catholic Foundation makes grants from these funds:
  • Types of Grants - Organizational grants are awarded in Education (including scholarships), Services, and Ministry
  • Donor Advised Funds - Awards grants to charitable organizations that are recommended by donors and/or family members that match their interests.
  • Advancing the Mission - Grants are awarded in the areas of Leadership Development, Evangelization, Life-Long Catechesis, and Priestly Retirement Care.
  • Lumen Christi - Since 1988 thousands of people working in education have received more than $2.3 million in scholarships for professional and academic development.
  • Greatest Needs Funds - The Foundation’s general fund, from which the Bishop of the Diocese of Green Bay awards grants to meet the greatest needs.
